Over the years we have proven to be a smart investment -- the online tools we create and implement are game-changing for the environmental groups we work with.

Innovation Fund

We use philanthropy to drive technology innovation in Groundwire Labs. An investment in our Innovation Fund has huge impact -- Groundwire develops software and collaborates with peers to create technology tools we can then replicate and roll out to group after group after group, all across the country.

Targeted Capacity Building

Many of the individuals and foundations who invest in us are interested in supporting a specific issue like climate change or wilderness. Or a specific geographic area like the Pacific Northwest.  They make a targeted capacity building donation to Groundwire and leave the rest to us. We carefully select groups in each issue area that can make the biggest impact with our tools and strategies and their investment.

General Support

Most individual supporters donate to our general support fund, which allows us to make investments where they are needed, when they are needed. General support funding allows us to respond quickly to emerging opportunities.  The work we do provides environmental organizations the leverage they need to broaden their base of supporters and influence real change in their communities.
