Groups working on clean energy and green jobs need a grassroots community connected by the web to help continue to raise awareness, find solutions compatible with the deep traditions of the American dream, and attract governmental leaders who can influence policy to reduce carbon emissions.

Climate Solutions

Based in the Pacific Northwest, Climate Solutions brings together people from all sectors to solve the climate crisis. 2009 is all about Repower Washington, which unites a broad collation of partners to advance the most ambitious package of climate policy to date in the Washington State Legislature.

US Climate Action Network

US Climate Action Network is the largest network in the United States focused on climate change. USCAN brings together organizations from all over the nation to work to promote government, private sector and individual action to limit human-induced climate change to ecologically sustainable levels. It’s also an affiliate network of the Climate Action Network, a worldwide network made up of more than 400 non-governmental organizations working on climate change.

Green for All

Green For All works to solve the climate crisis by lifting people out of poverty with the creation of a new green economy. This group burst onto the national scene in 2008 and has helped make federal funding for green jobs programs a reality. Their multimedia messaging and inclusive mission has attracted a new generation of environmentalists to the cause.
