This is often the issue area that takes the environmental movement out of the abstract and into reality. The groups we work with are made up of watchdogs, advocates, teachers and caretakers. They work tirelessly to give a voice to those in our community who can no longer bear the majority of environmental burdens such as air pollution, chemical waste disposal, and a lack of green space.

Oregon Environmental Council
As part of the National Eco-Healthy Child Care Initiative, our web developers integrated OEC's website and database so childcare facilities get the information they need to apply for eco-healthy certification. Parents and caretakers can also search the site and locate endorsed Eco-Healthy Child Care anywhere in the nation. The Eco-Healthy Child Care program now certifies 1,100 childcare facilities serving nearly 47,000 children around the country.

The Health and Environmental Funders Network (HEFN) is a network of funders committed to supporting work in public health and the environment. The HEFN Stories Project showcases real people doing real work to promote environmental health and justice in our communities.
Washington Toxics Coalition
Washington Toxics Coalition is dedicated to providing a safer future for our children. They work on campaigns like the Safe Baby Bottle Act and Health Care without Harm, they provide information on toxic-free toys and pesticides in parks and lakes, and they promote healthy, safe schools and communities.
