They can add a brief personal note, and that, along with a picture from their trip report, is added to their FB news stream.</description>

<p>Using the tools Facebook provides, we make it easy for people taking action on your site to publicize it to their Facebook pages, encouraging their friends to do the same. What better advertising than word of mouth from a trusted source?</p>
<p>Most of the time, this is used while thanking someone for taking action -- writing a letter to a decision maker, say. ("I just asked my representative to say NO to BPA in baby bottles. You should too!") But at Washington Trails Association, we customized it for a slightly different use. <p>USCAN is an affiliate network of the Climate Action Network (CAN), a worldwide network of more than 400 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) from 85 countries working to promote government, private sector and individual action to limit human-induced climate change to ecologically sustainable levels.</p>
<p>USCAN also is a partner of the Global Campaign on Climate Action (GCCA). In 2009, GCCA launched the Tck, Tck, Tck campaign to gain a new climate agreement in Copenhagen. The Tck, Tck, Tck project includes the Union of Concerned Scientists, Pew Environment Group, Oxfam International, Greenpeace International, Christian Aid, World Council of Churches, World Wildlife Fund, 350, Avaaz, E3G, Global Humanitarian Forum, Global Call to Action against Poverty, and other leading NGOs in over thirty nations.</p>
